Hello!
Hello, my name is Valerie Parson and welcome to my site. Here, you will find invaluable information and resources for individuals seeking information on living a healthy lifestyle.
In the early years, we consumed foods that were rich in natural ingredients and nutrients. Fruits and vegetables were grown from the healthiest and most riches natural soil. Now consumers buy processed foods laced with preservatives to maintain a longer ‘shelf’ life, and fresh fruits and vegetables sprayed with chemicals and insecticides.
We live in a society of ‘convenience’. In order to accommodate a busy lifestyle, most people buy frozen or canned fruits and vegetables, or pre-prepared frozen meals, which, popped in a microwave oven are ‘zapped’ to life. Some individuals believe that by eating these ready-made meals, they are still getting a ‘balanced’ meal as well as the recommended daily allowance of fruits, vegetable, proteins etc. Sadly, the fact of the matter is, their‘healthy’ lifestyle is suffering, and it is evident by the lack of true nutritional value, supplements and minerals that the body is deprived of.
By adapting this ‘false sense of security’, we have seen more cases of people afflicted with obesity, high blood pressure, heart failure, strokes, cancers and other medical conditions, which although some individuals acquire thru family genetics, in most instances these medical conditions can be linked to poor food choices and lack of exercise. By adopting a healthier lifestyle thru proper nutrition or exercise, many of these health conditions can be minimized, if not avoided.
My goal is to supply the individual with as much information as possible on the keys to living a healthy lifestyle to the types of foods and or supplements to choose from which would assist in losing weight, or maintaining a healthy body. This information can benefit the average person as well as the truly health conscious individual or athlete looking for the best natural ingredients to help keep their body performing at the highest possible level.
You will find suggestions on how to prepare a 1200-calorie diet. I also share information about the latest weight loss craze that is sweeping the diet industry.
As a word of caution, all the material presented on this website is for educational information only and should not be used as a substitute to cure or treat any health issues or diseases. If you are taking any medications, or under doctor supervision, it is strongly recommended that, you consult with your health care professional before starting any diet or exercise program.
